Toyama City Observatory Tower is a free public viewing deck on top of Toyama City Hall in Japan, giving visitors a 360-degree view over the city below.
About Toyama City Observatory
The observation deck sits on the 8th floor of the city hall building, roughly 70 metres above ground, and is open to the public at no charge. Free telescopes and multilingual audio guides are provided, making it an easy stop for visitors exploring the city.
Location & getting there
The tower is located at 7-38 Shinsakuramachi in Toyama, on Japan's main island of Honshu. On a clear day, visitors can see the Tateyama mountain range, Toyama Castle and Toyama Bay spread out below.

Opening hours vary by season: from April to October it is open 9:00–21:00 on weekdays and 10:00–21:00 on weekends and holidays; from November to March, hours are 9:00–18:00 on weekdays and 10:00–18:00 on weekends and holidays. There is no admission fee.
