About Borowiec Astrogeodynamic Observatory
The Borowiec Astrogeodynamic Observatory forms part of the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences (CBK PAN), based in Borówiec, Poland. It is the only scientific institution in Poland that simultaneously carries out local and global geodynamic and time-metrology research.
Telescopes & research
The observatory performs regular Satellite Laser Ranging (SLR) measurements and tracks Global Navigation Satellite Systems including GPS, GLONASS and Galileo, contributing data used in geodesy, time-keeping and satellite positioning research.
