Rezman Observatory is a private research and astrophotography facility in Slovenia, built around a network of remotely operated telescopes.

About Rezman Observatory

The observatory runs four automated telescopes: Rezman 1 (30cm), Rezman 2 (11cm), Rezman 3 (60cm), and Rezman ES (28cm), the last of which is sited remotely in Spain. Each is fitted with colour and monochrome CMOS cameras on precision mounts, allowing the whole setup to be operated remotely.

Telescopes & research

Rezman Observatory specialises in astrophotography of bright and faint comets, asteroids and supernovae. Recent work has included detailed imaging of the VDB 140 nebula and documentation of the Northern Lights.

Location & getting there

The main facility is located in Slovenia, with an additional remote telescope, Rezman ES, operating from a second site in Spain to extend observing coverage.

As a private research facility built around remote operation, Rezman Observatory is not generally set up for public tours; check directly with the observatory for any visiting arrangements.
