Housed in the distinctive domed section of the Palace of Youth and Sports complex, the observatory is run today by the Astronomy Club of Kosova (ACK), offering public viewing of stars, planets, and meteors.
History
Opened in mid-November 1977 by a group known as the Kosovo Young Researchers, the observatory closed for 43 years before reopening on July 13, 2022, once again welcoming visitors to its dome.
