History

Founded in 1957 as a small brick observation post, the facility has expanded considerably over the decades. Its most recent addition, a planetarium with a 6-metre diameter dome and 4K resolution projection seating 26 people, opened in 2023.

Telescopes & research

The site now features two observation domes alongside its planetarium, supporting a broad programme of educational activities for preschools, elementary and secondary schools, astronomy clubs, lectures, and day camps.
