The building takes its name from Nora and Hashem Naraghi, whose family trust contributed roughly $2 million toward its construction. Inside are 25 laboratories, 58 faculty offices, and four classrooms, all built to LEED Silver environmental standards, with the campus observatory forming part of the science facilities.

History

The project was founded in 2006 and the completed hall formally opened in September 2007, giving CSU Stanislaus a dedicated home for its science programs and student astronomy work.
