Telescopes & research
The observatory's main instrument is a 1.23-metre Cassegrain reflector, one of the largest telescopes in Greece. It has been used for the NELIOTA project, a collaboration between the European Space Agency and the National Observatory of Athens, alongside smaller instruments supporting IAASARS research and various international programmes.
