Hin Hua Observatory

Hin Hua Observatory is a school-run astronomical facility at Hin Hua High School in Klang, Malaysia, built to support astronomy education for students and the local community.

About Hin Hua Observatory

Housed within the school's ten-storey building, completed in 2006–2007, Hin Hua Observatory is recognised as the largest astronomical observatory among Malaysian educational institutions. It also serves as the official astronomy centre for Hin Hua High School.

History

The observatory was established in 2009 as the Hin Hua Remote Astronomy Observation Center, the first facility of its kind in Malaysia, extending the school's science programme into hands-on observational astronomy.
