About Greiner Research Observatory
The observatory was built in 2006 by Dr Richard A. Greiner and colleagues, with improved versions constructed in 2009 and 2011. Dr Greiner is Emeritus Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a lifetime honorary member of the Madison Astronomical Society.
