About Fox Park Public Observatory
The observatory is owned and operated jointly by the Eaton County Parks Department and local amateur astronomers. It opened in fall 1999 and focuses on hands-on public observing, from planetary and lunar study to CCD imaging, astrophotography, and hunting for galaxies, globular clusters, nebulae, asteroids and comets.
