The observatory is built around an astrograph on an ASA DDM85 mount with high-resolution absolute encoders, paired with a Moravian G4 16000 CCD camera featuring a KAF 16803 chip with 9 µm pixels and a 4096×4096-pixel, 16-megapixel sensor, plus a Moravian filter wheel with seven filters.

Telescopes & research

The setup is offered as a rental facility exclusively for experienced amateur astronomers already familiar with the associated ASA Autoslew control software, making it a serious imaging station rather than a casual viewing site.
