Buehler Planetarium and Observatory is a 40-foot-diameter domed theatre at the A. Hugh Adams central campus of Broward College, using the Definiti fulldome video system, and it is the only public planetarium in Broward County. Its observatory patio houses around 20 telescopes available for public use.

History

The planetarium and observatory opened in 1965 and have run public shows and observing nights for the South Florida community for decades since, including a full reopening in 2026 after a period of renovation with newly upgraded equipment.
