Turin observatory (before 1913) refers to the historic observatory site in Turin, Italy, used prior to the relocation of the city's astronomical observatory to Pino Torinese at the end of 1912.
History
Before its move to Pino Torinese, Turin's observatory occupied earlier sites in the city, including a period at Palazzo Madama from 1822 and an earlier location on the roof of the Academy of Sciences from around 1789. This entry records the pre-1913 Turin site itself.
