Sternwarte Kirchheim, formally the Volkssternwarte Kirchheim e.V., is a members-run public observatory in the village of Kirchheim, part of Amt Wachsenburg in Thuringia. Like many German Volkssternwarten, it exists to give local residents direct access to a telescope and to introduce visitors to observational astronomy.
