Ondokuz Mayıs University Observatory is a ground-based astronomical observatory on the campus of Ondokuz Mayıs University, northwest of Samsun in northern Turkey.
About Ondokuz Mayıs University Observatory
The observatory is operated by the Astronomy and Space Sciences Department within the university's Faculty of Science. It is one of just six university observatories in Turkey, giving students in the region direct access to observational astronomy.
History
The observatory was established on 1 June 2006 as part of the university's growing astronomy programme.

It sits on the Ondokuz Mayıs University campus, about 14 kilometres northwest of Samsun, on Turkey's Black Sea coast, in Asia.
