About Observatori de Santa Maria de Montmagastrell
Founded in 1991, the observatory holds Minor Planet Center code B74 and is equipped with a 16-inch (Ritchey-Chrétien) f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. As of January 2019 it had submitted nearly 13,900 minor planet observations to international databases, reflecting a long-running programme of asteroid and minor-planet discovery and tracking.
