About Experimenta Observatory

The observatory is part of Experimenta, a science center housed partly in the former Hagenbucher warehouse and partly in a new building. The rooftop terrace holds four observatory stations equipped with powerful telescopes for stargazing sessions.

History

Experimenta's new building opened in March 2019, expanding the science center into a 25,000 m² facility with 275 interactive exhibits, four creative studios, nine labs and a 21-metre-diameter Science Dome, alongside the rooftop observatory.
