Arti Magnetic Observatory

Arti Magnetic Observatory (ARS) is a geomagnetic research facility located in Russia at latitude 56.43 degrees north and longitude 58.57 degrees east in the Urals region. The observatory operates as a key monitoring station in the international INTERMAGNET network of standardized geomagnetic observatories.

The facility is operated by the Institute of Geophysics at the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (UB RAS) in Ekaterinburg. Arti Observatory specializes in the continuous measurement and precise monitoring of Earth's magnetic field, contributing critical data to international scientific databases and supporting research on magnetospheric processes and space weather.
