Kazo Miraikan

Kazo Miraikan is a municipal science and learning facility in Kazo, Saitama Prefecture, Japan, built around a planetarium and astronomical observation room aimed at inspiring children’s curiosity about space.

About Kazo Miraikan

Located at 350-1 Sotono in Kazo, the facility is known locally as the city’s “dream facility,” combining a planetarium, an astronomical observation room, large-screen displays, and hands-on learning rooms under one roof. In March 2015, it installed the Media Globe Σ (Sigma) digital planetarium system, upgrading its sky shows for visitors.

Kazo Miraikan opened in 2001 as a municipal facility dedicated to space and science education for the local community.
